As you can see, she really enjoyed her choice!
It made me so happy that she was so proud of herself about it. For days after they ordered the cake Kathryn would go into the office and tell Rob "order Mommy cookie"?

I have never seen so much icing on a cookie!
Can you guess who picked out her own outfit? I try to let her wear what she wants but this was too ridiculous. Plus it was Sunday!
I'm sad to say Miss Kathryn Grace is getting to be a big girl (sort of). Two weeks ago Kathryn started sleeping in a big girl bed. It was at her own prompting. We, on the other hand weren't ready. It happened because the night before, I was feeling all emotional about Kathryn growing up so fast, and Rob and I were talking about all the cute things she'd been doing. So I decided I had to sleep in her room. I moved the twin mattress from the guest room/playroom into Kathryn's room beside her crib (so, yes, it does look attractive ; ). Wednesday I didn't get a chance to move the mattress out and that night Kathryn wanted to sleep in it (while I was home alone with her). She stayed in it for an hour and a half before I had to go in her room and she wanted to get in her crib. I was quite impressed with that amount of time. I wanted to get a pic of her in the bed last night but was afraid I'd bother her. Rob went to check on her early the next morning and she was snuggled up with her little bottom in the air! Talking about that, her new favorite word is "bootie". She says it all the time. She patted Spencer's little nub of a tail and looked at me and said "bootie" and laughed! So inappropriate but we love it!
That is Sugar on the right side of the picture. He loved sleeping in there but can't anymore because it's a little to distracting. A few nights ago she couldn't stop giggling and we eventually had to take him out : (
A few weeks ago as I was putting Kathryn in bed Rob came in to tell her good-night and she said "snuggle?" to Rob. We laid on either side of her and she put her arms under our heads. Then we had "family kisses time". First she'd kiss Rob, then me, then Rob and I would kiss, this continued for awhile until we both started kissing on K at the same time and she got so tickled she couldn't continue. It's so precious, she loves to see Rob and I being affectionate towards each other. She is definitely Mommy's little angel!
Here are a few things I've made recently.

Not a great pic but aren't these the cutest bibs ever? I made the pink one to match a sweet little girl's (C.I.) birthday invitation and liked it so much I made one for a little boy's (T.L.) first birthday (his birthday is farm themed and, somehow, I have nothing that went with that theme).
Baby gifts I made for my mom to give to two co-workers having babies this summer.
My mom's Mother's Day gift. When she decides on the fabric for her kitchen I am going to make "Queen Ma" and "King Papa" aprons.
I got this swimsuit from Target and finally got the courage up to monogram on this material. I have another Target swimsuit I want to monogram. Maybe tonight. . . . .
I am almost done with all of Kathryn and Thomas' clothes for the summer and almost all my baby gifts are made for the babies being born to friends in the next few months. What will I do with my time? Hopefully I will be able to restrain myself and not make more clothes for Kathryn! She definitely has enough! My mom keeps telling me I need to turn this into a business but I just don't know if that's what I want.
Kathryn and I made Rob this *beautiful* sign for the his graduation luncheon two Saturdays ago.
This is a Bailey's Boys swimsuit of Kathryn's from last year. It's a size 2 and I'm selling it for $12. I tried to make it work for this year but it just wasn't possible : ( Seriously, could she look any cuter with that chubby little tummy sticking out? If you'd like to buy it please email me.

Making the transition to a big girl bed is so hard! I'm so proud of Miss Kathryn! You are so talented. You definitely need to start selling the clothes you make. I plan on being your best customer! I would love a princess Libby apron.:) Tell Rob congratulations for me. You have the sweetest family!
