Thomas was sitting in his little chair in front of the glass door waiting on us. They were so excited to see each other.
Ashley couldn't get the Smart Cycle to work on the TV but no one seemed to even notice. Kathryn just watched Dora and slowly pedaled.
Thomas got on the ottoman behind Kathryn so he was "riding" the bike with her.
I promise they were happy even though they don't look like it!
A few minutes before we left Ashley's house Ashley asked if Kathryn and Thomas wanted some milk. I told Ashley we would just get some at Ma's house. Shortly after Kathryn started crying. We had had a busy day and it was very near "quiet time" so I just figured she was tired (and she wasn't communicating except to say she didn't want to leave). We got in the car and a couple of minutes later Kathryn started what can only be described as her "cry-scream". She was trying to tell me what was wrong but all I got was something about Ashley and good-bye. Assuming she didn't get a chance to tell Ash good-bye I called Ash for her. Kathryn wouldn't get on the phone instead she told me "you tell her. Ash not give me milk at her house" (as she began to cry hysterically again). All we could do was laugh! She said that she was going to get milk at Ma's because Ash "not give her any at her house". She continued talking about it the whole way back to Ma's.
Saturday morning Ma, Kathryn and I had a girls' morning of manis/pedis, shopping and lunch.
Kathryn is sitting to the right of Ma getting her nails polished.
I love how cute her little feet look hanging there. They couldn't reach the toe dryer.
In true Kathryn style she had to have rainbow colored toes.
After dinner the next night I walked in the living room to this sweet sight.
I can only imagine she is being bossy to Thomas.
Sweet girl <3
Kathryn decided they should play Doc McStuffins. Here she is bringing Thomas to see the doctor (aka Ma).
Explaining to the "doctor" what is wrong with Thomas. LOVE the hands on the hips!
Then it was Kathryn's turn to see the doctor. Her tummy was hurting her, she "ate too much food".
After dinner we went out to the front yard and found. . . BABY BUNNIES!! They appeared to have been born very recently. They were just in the middle of the yard not hidden or covered at all. Long story short, the mama bunny got scared off and never returned. My sister got them and took them to a vet that could care for them and bottle feed them.
I'm obsessed with this picture!!
Then later in the evening I walked in to even more cuteness finding Kathryn feeding "Max" his before bedtime snack. She was being rather chincy with the goldfish but sweet Thomas was being patient. (FYI, chincy is not an actual word but I looked it up and it is in the urban dictionary so I guess that's good enough for me ; )
He could only have food if she put it in his mouth.
