Our Valentine's Day Party

Thank you to all of our sweet friends for coming to our Valentine party. We is the table - lots of cupcakes and candy. Kathryn and I had fun painting the wooden hearts hanging from the chandelier.

Kathryn has been so excited about her Valentine Party. She seriously talked about it more than her birthday and Christmas. She would tell everyone repeatedly that she was having a Valentine Party. Initially she thought it was her birthday but didn't care when we told her it wasn't. Though yesterday when we all sat down she told us to sing to her.

Our party favors. The "LOVE" sign is another thing Kathryn and I painted together. I think it turned out beatifully.

And more cupcakes. . . . .

Here are some pictures of Kathryn and her friends playing hard at the party.

This picture cracks me up! I wish I remembered what they were looking at.

These two are too cute together!

Thank you everyone for bringing all this food.

Kathryn loved all the candy. I honestly thought she was going to be sick from all the suckers (I think she had 4), M&Ms, candy hearts, Reese's mini hearts and a cupcake. She topped it off with crackers.

Kathryn and LA were playing with the princess castle and Kathryn said that LA was her sister. Later, at naptime, she told me that Woody [Ruby] and Riley (the sisters that live next door) were her sisters. I asked her if they were her sisters like LA and she said "no, LA is my baby." <3

After everyone left she had chocolate ("icing") covered strawberries and veggies straws.

"Noooooo"!

Kathryn doesn't get the concept of giving Valentine cards to her friends. She cried when I gave the cards away because they had suckers attached that she wanted.

Kathryn has started calling Robert "Robert Ring." When we were leaving the house a few days ago she said "bye Robert Ring". I asked her what her name was thinking she'd say Kathryn Ring but, no, she told me her name is "princess." I should have known!
