Sweet girl

After church on Sunday Kathryn was picking weeds flowers in our yard. We then put them in the glass and she has insisted that Rapunzel stay next to them.

Kathryn is completely obsessed with Rapunzel these days. We have a 17 inch singing Rapunzel doll, a Barbie doll sized Rapunzel in a wedding dress, a Mother Gothel doll (in case you aren't as familiar with the movie she's the villain and is super creepy looking), a baby Rapunzel doll, the mini Rapunzel shown above, Tangled on blu-ray, a Rapunzel princess dress, Rapunzel princess shoes, and a Rapunzel nightgown!

What a cutie!

This is what Rob found when we went to put on his shoes this morning. <3 Kathryn is just so precious I can't stand it!

Our Disney Cruise!!! Part II

This is how I found Kathryn one morning. She thought sleeping under the desk on our half-empty bags was comfy so she slept there off and on throughout the rest of the trip. It seemed more suitable as a dog bed but whatever!

On Tuesday afternoon we headed to Bibbity-Boppity Boutique. Mommy and Daddy grabbed a cocktail on the way to the boutique.

Which nail polish to choose?

Letting her princess nails dry.

She kept making odd faces while getting her eyeshadow applied. She acted like she couldn't close her eyes all the way then made a grimacing face. I know that she was happy to have her make-up done because Kathryn is not going to do anything she doesn't want to!

With her paparazzi following in the background. There are 4 cameras on her at this point!

This was our view Wednesday morning in port at Cozumel. We stayed on board and enjoyed a much less crowded pool area.

This is what hair looks like the morning after visiting the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. She still had some "pixie dust" (aka glitter) in her hair for at least 3 days.

There was self-serve ice cream available throughout most of the day which Kathryn thought was fabulous!

Pirate Party! You can't see from the pic but all the Disney characters were dressed as pirates and put on a show with Captain Hook.

Someone was a little grumpy from too much excitement and not quite enough sleep.

Rob and his Dad at the tequila tasting Thursday afternoon.

Kathryn was so excited to meet Tiana that she literally threw herself on her.

Friday we were on Castaway Cay which is Disney's private island that they lease from the Bahamanian government (it's a 100 year lease). It was an amazing day and my favorite by far. It was not too hot and was breezy and just everything was perfect : )

Cabanas on Castaway Cay are a must!! I never knew what I was missing! They have a hammock on the beach side (which is which side is shown below) and there is a fan in the cabana along with a mini fridge stocked with sodas, water, and fresh fruit.

A view of the amazing ship from our cabana.

Several of us went on a bike ride around the island. I'd never ridden with Kathryn behind me and we both loved it. Makes me want a bike.

Kathryn playing in the children's water play area on the island.

On the way home from the airport. Seriously, who looks so beautiful sleeping? Even her little eyelids are beautiful <3.

Our backyard!! I'll call it phase I.

Our Disney Cruise!!! Part I

Yesterday we got back from our Disney cruise. We had such a fabulous time (with one exception which I'll elaborate on later) and I have so much to share! I'll start from the beginning. Last Saturday we flew to Orlando, along with Rob's dad, step-mom, sister, and her boyfriend.

While some of us on the plane were feeling a bit queasy from the major turbulence Kathryn acted as though she was on a roller coaster. She thought it was great!

My little world traveler ; ) She insisted on pulling this bag of Big Dad's.

The boat! That morning it had arrived in port from its very first sailing.

Once on-board we met up with Rob's step-mom's parents and brother, sister-in-law, their 2 children, his step sister and a friend of hers.

Our first priority on was to make an appointment at Bibbity-Boppity Boutique. The boutique was FABULOUS! There were all the princess dresses and shoes set up like a little boutique. I wanted Kathryn to have everything in there!

At the sail away deck party later that afternoon.

Meeting Snow White!!! Here she is asking Snow White where her dwarves are.

Snow White told her she didn't know where the dwarves were. "Uh-oh"!

Meeting Ariel!!! Since Snow White didn't know where 'her' dwarves were Kathryn assumed Ariel didn't know where Flounder and Sebastian were so in this pic she is offering to help her find them.

After a lovely evening I went and got a massage. At 10 pm as I walked back to our room I was thinking how wonderfully I was going to sleep that night, even though the ship had been considerably rocky throughout the evening. 30 minutes later I got a horrible headache and then started feeling seasick. Fast forward 4 hours and I was in the Health Center getting a shot to combat the nausea that had me up sick all not and showed no signs of slowing down. I can not remember being so sick in a very long time. The shot knocked me out for the next 24 hours so I completely missed Easter : ( I did absolutely nothing on Easter Sunday. I woke up Monday feeling a little weak but feeling much better.

On Monday we all went in port, at Grand Cayman, to eat lunch. These pics were taken while playing on the iPad with Big Dad as we waited for everyone to meet up in his room. Seriously, is she not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen???

The day before while Kathryn was playing with this little fan she held it up to Big Dad's head and then announced "you don't have hair"!

Big Dad said "rats" after losing a game on the iPad and then Kathryn repeated him when she lost by saying "kats".

To be continued. . . . . .

Being Rapunzel

In case you can't tell she's saying "running, running, running. . . ." She did this for the longest time and was eating her dinner in between "runs".

Happy Easter!!

Last Saturday morning we headed to Dawson for their Easter festival.

Big girl braid or, as Kathryn said, Rapunzel hair.

Kathryn loved riding the pony. There was one large horse among the ponies to be ridden and while we were waiting in line Kathryn said she wanted to ride the big horsey.

Cookie Decorating.

Going on the train ride.

SO exciting!!

Completely worn out!

Kathryn put these "hairpieces" on and then pretended to play piano on my keyboard while singing us a song.

Since we will be on vacation on Easter Sunday we went ahead and gave Kathryn her Easter basket filled with goodies and her present.

It's so hard to keep your eyes closed waiting for your Easter basket.

Three days ago Kathryn received a package from Ma with her Easter presents in it. She is holding up a package of lip gloss. She loves it and will sit on the couch putting it on and on and on. I just looked over at her a few minutes ago and she was holding two lip glosses up to her lips but not moving them just holding them there.

Kathryn also received 2 princess nightgowns from Ma (Belle and Rapunzel) and when she saw them she said "uh-oh, Ma forgot Snow White. Oops!" She then said that multiple times throughout the rest of the day.

Heading out to dinner last night. . . .
